When I press one of the map scroll keys (WASD) then the map only moves a single space in that direction.

I have to repeatedly press the same key to keep the map moving.

Can the function be added to the game ,where when I hold a WASD key down ,that the moves without me having to hit the key for every space?
Other similar games ,like the excellent HOS (hex of steel to the uninitiated) for example are a joy to MANOEUVRE around the map using the WASD keys. Here I have to plod around with single keystrokes.

Can this game be made the same way please.

The map can be scrolled with the mouse cursor and this works well.

Map scrolling, in the way you describe, should work. I'll take a look to see if there's an issue.
