If you want a challenge from the AI

Normally playing the computer is only really a challenge for new players, occasionally I will still play the computer to test new strategies or to have a fun time with a fantasy strategy like invading the US mainland, but the China 37 scenario is actually a challenge vs the computer, for 2 reasons i would guess, one it's fairly simple and 2 it is in my opinion still a little off as far as balance, (they do way better as China) either way it is a fun scenario if you wanting to play the computer and want a challenge, also fun to play to get a perspective on just how vast the Chinese theater really is! it would be fun if you could play it past 39

The AI is certainly better in that scenario...
SO much less for it to work on...

NOW one warning...as the Japanese you can in no way win.
The VPs are not possible to capture to actually win the scenario.

But it is an interesting grind.

I look forward to WP2 having this level in China...
I think it will be a great deal more interesting for the players...
Though not so much for the AI.

true there is no way to actually win as Japan (i don't know why this isn't changed) but you can set your own objectives, I always figure if i do about historical it would be a draw if you capture Changsha and Sian I figure Japan is winning, obviously worse would be China wins

Agreed.
