Starting a quite complex scenario in the early 1900s, one of my DD divisions is set up in Screen formation. Except that screen is not available to DDs yet. And the formation dropdown is greyed out because my controls are locked until I sight the enemy.

Another reason to get rid of that thing where the controls are locked until you sight the enemy.

I was able to just start the scenario with the division in my control, so not a crippling error but still something to think about.

Also had a situation where two KEs were in the battle and they started in a Search Line formation, which is not permitted for that class at least at my then level of technology.
