We are happy to announce our first tutorial video for Flashpoint Campaigns: Southern Storm went live last week. Next week we should have the livetsream we did for the launch of this video edited down and on youtube where we covered the basics of scouting and cavalry on the cold war battlefield. I was live with SgtZDog and Jeff from the development team, and we had a lot of fun discussing reconnaissance, cavalry, and how not to get your scouts blown up, it was a lot of fun.



In case you missed the stream, here it is archived on Youtube. SgtZdog, developer Jeff Sugden, and myself go over the real life tactics that went into Cold War reconnaissance and scouting doctrine, along with some discussions on cavalry and behind the lines raiding.

This is really worth watching and can’t wait for next tutorial. There is so much to this and even after hours of playing the AI and head to head there is still a lot of stuff I could be more informed about.

I have an opponent I play Combat Mission h2h and he mentioned he has Southern Storm and doesn’t play it as he doesn’t get it.

I’m going to forward this to him so we can start playing h2h.
