Taking Chemkid's map I was playing around with making an old fashioned crumbled map look. It's a work in progress, but if there is interest I will finish it. Will add roads and other details, but keep it looking like something old.

I would encourage you to flesh out the map some more with your ideas on terrain, hexsides, man-made points-of-interest like ports and cities, etc. It would give us an place to do a fair assessment before judging your work.

One thing to be careful of is to make sure that the wrinkles on the map are not mistaken for terrain.
