I've had this happen a couple of times with different ships, where the autodesign suggests a ship and when you get to the save and finish step it says it isn't a legal design for some reason. I think the autodesign feature should probably check that before it gives you the design to play with. I didn't change this build very much, didn't change the displacement, but it doesn't recognize it as a CL when I try to save it (probably it's a CA? even with no armor?)

Thanks - I have added this to our internal listing for issues.

Another common error is the "hull is too narrow for triple turrets and TPS above X" issue. The autodesign will give you a TPS of 3 if your technology permits, then put triple or quad turrets in A or Y without checking to see if you have that tech.
