It would be really handy in this situation to be able to zoom in, move around the map, look at where Miyuki is and where the wreck is that she wants to go pick up people from, where the nearest enemy ships are that might put her in danger by doing that, but all I get is an annoying error "boing" when I try to do anything other than zoom in on wherever I was centered when the message came up. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to let the poor fellows drown rather than put my ship at risk, even though the extra VP for picking up survivors is tempting.
