With the recent release of the orb and crown fantasy mod in the World at War engine, I'd like to have a couple of games running to explore something very different to the historical scenarios. I'd describe my skill level in the SC engine as intermediate/higher but I'm happy to play people of any experience given this is a totally new style and map.

Installation is pretty straightforward and I don't mind communicating on discord or by PM's to discuss the game/mod. Games are up for either side with no password.

I'm potentially interested as I enjoy trying different SC games. Is there some sort of overview/strategy guide for it? Is one side easier to initially learn?

It has a strategy manual included with the mod which gives something of an overview of the major powers, does seem a bit lacking in actual advice though.

In terms of easier sides it seems analogous to SC:WWII with allies being more forgiving due to higher income in the long run and adversaries having more combat power in the early game and falling off later. I've only played a couple of turns but allies seem easier to play as long as you don't mind having to fight on the defensive for the first year or so.

Alright, let's give it a go. I've joined the Allies game you had posted. I'll look through the strategy guide to get a feel for things. I usually can do a turn per day.

I have more games up at the moment if anyone is interested in trying out a new scenario.

Had a look at the mod and it's definitely something different to the usual WW1/2 fare. Am willing to try the Allies in the game a go. Are they still without a password?
