I replaced the executable file with the file in the ZIP available in this forum, however once I'm done it get an error "There is something wrong with your serial number" when trying to launch the program. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi wjpalladino -- I suspect you may have downloaded a version of the executable which doesn't match the serial number check for the version you have installed. Do you have the stand-alone version of the game, or is it a Steam or Good-Old-Games version?

For Steam or GOG you'll get the latest executable by updating your game files on Steam or GOG.

If you have the stand-alone version from Matrix Games you should be able to update via the 'My Page' link on the top line of the matrixgames.com website. You just need to login and register your serial numbers and you can download the full game and/or updates.
