Hi Wargamers,

although I read the manual and did some search here at the forum I found no satisfying answer to my question. In my 1941 campaign as germans I took Leningrad by Ocotber 1941. And I know there is this a event triggering the release of finish divisions. According to the manual there is 5% chance per turn to release these additional division. I am now in early march 1942 and no finish divisions arrived.
So am I assuming right, that it could be possible to never get these divisions? Is it basically some kind of a gamble? Or are there other requirements to release these divisions? Like establishing a repaired rail line to Finland?

Vielen Dank! So from now on I don`t have to wait for them im my Lets Play. They won`t come anymore. Or maybe I just missed them. Do you know if they spawn on the map or do they arrive in the Finland-TB?

I can't tell you the exact turn I took Leningrad as that save game is on a computer in a shipping container somewhere on the australian eastern seaboard but

Events tell me that the karellian Isthmus was captured on T20 and leningrad fortress was captured T26 so T26 I reckon. So that is 11 turns to 1st of march.

No Finns have turned up so I was unlucky? and my odds were less than 9%, but I understand it is a role of the dice ie chance. Now if I had taken leningrad early November that would make it say 15 turns to 1st mar and my actual odds turned out to be say 6% which is getting a tad far from the 10%. Unlucky again. (Check for black cat sitting under your chair) Still even if the event expired in 1945 probability tells me for someone somewhere it is possible that this event will never be triggered.

My question is : Has anyone seen this event triggered ie the Finns turn up? (in recent releases)

And if I may make an observation : I am at T102 and AGN has pushed on to take Oshta (something to do I suppose). And in that time the Finland TB requirements have gone up. Does this seem right?

You're better off without them on the map. Finland's manpower gain per turn is abysmal. Most Finnish divisions in the TB will reduce their max TOE in a desperate attempt to distribute the manpower.

So the moment your on-map Finns take casualties, their usefulness is on a timer because you likely won't have manpower to get them back to max TOE at any point in the game.

Sounds like the "Soviet Northern Offensive" Event 0008?!
But that one requires Soviets to control

Is that the case?! Seems weird if you own Leningrad.

6/42 to 245 looks correct. These events whilst they can be delayed will still eventually happen?

No, that event hasnt happened. I just think the reward for AGN success is rather small.

No, that event hasnt happened. I just think the reward for AGN success is rather small.

I see, you were referrring to the actual "Defence number"/TB requirement changes.
Those seem to be almost all just set to a historical Dates, no further checks as it seems.

With what patch have you created and played the scenario?

I try to keep up to date with the patches so whatever the patch was like 9 months ago. I am now on the current 03.05? In that time Finland has built 38k and has 34k in the pool. The Hungarians have 200k in the pool and I am not sure how to use them.
