Looking for opponent!

Hello, I'm pretty new to this hex and counter wargaming thing, but I'm having a blast.

I started by playing UoC 1, then UoC 2, and then I picked up the Decisive Campaigns series as I wanted to play on a larger scale.

Playing against the AI is fine, but I'd really like to find someone who wants to play by email. I own all the DC games, but my preference would be for DC Blitzkreig or DC Case Blue.

Hoping I'll find someone here, because the steam forums for these games are pretty much dead.

Hi Tom;

I've played all of the DC games and I think very highly of them. This is probably a better place to find an opponent. My dance card is pretty full these days, so if you find another opponent that is great, but if not and you are OK with my doing turns unevenly (but normally at least a few a week, based on the scenario's size) I do not currently have an ongoing game of any of the DC titles, so I'll be your huckleberry. I'll PM you.

Hey, thankyou for replying - I have no need for the turns to be taken quickly, one turn a week would suffice, with more than that being a bonus! Would you be up for playing DC: Blitzkrieg then? We could do Case White? Please PM me :)

Hey SwampYankee - I saw your PM, apparently I am unable to reply because my account has not participated in enough forum posts yet. I have to say that is one of the oddest PM systems I have come across on a forum, if anything it's usually the other way around! Anyway, I got your email address in the PM, and I've not yet had another offer.

So, case White, DC: Blitzkrieg - I shall take the side of the Germans, and make sure the settings are set for historical accuracy, then send you the file once I've taken the first turn!
