TOE Changes in random German ID (7th) (May 2022) vs (Oct 2023)

Here are a couple of screen caps from the editor of the German 7th Infantry Division.
One is from May 2022, other is from current patch (Oct 2023).
Let's take a look.....
Looks like they eliminated the duplicate 7.92mm PzB 39 AT-Rifles (from 2022)
(was this in any patch notes?)
(this brought total men down from 17060 -> 16882)
(and CV from 29 -> 27)
Cavalry Squad -> Cavalry Squad 39
Fuel Need: 38 -> 50 (hmm....)
Vehicle Need: 254 -> 338
(not entirely sure how WiTE2 represents a vehicle, as their fav source reference assigns 500 Trucks, 230 Light Transports to the division)
Comments regarding changes:
No real issues.
Removing duplicate elements is good.
Renaming Cavalry Squad is also good, if for nothing else, consistency.
Ongoing issues:
Over-representation of support? (117%) 544/462
1 support = 20 men
544 Support = 10880 men
non-Support = 6002 men (16882 - 10880)
Support accounts for 64% (10880/16882) of the total men for the division.
This has always seemed excessive, especially considering that only 462 Support elements are needed.
However, if you reduced down to only the needed 462 Support elements, that would be at the cost of 1640 men and pushing the total men for the division down to 15,242 men. (way too low)
Part of this could be made up in the under-represented strength of the 7.92mm MG Machine Gun elements.
(another conversation entirely...)
