Now it has been pushed back 2 more days to the 6th??
What the deal?!
Has anyone in the US been able to get a copy??
This is starting to get laughable.

What are your sources ? I heard people ordering Korsun Pocket here at Matrixgames already had their copy. Since both games were handled together I will assume it will be true for TOS: WS too.

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/234698.asp says it ships on the 3rd. Check it yourself. Its all up to the delivery.

It is all who you talk to...
The webside of EB ... is not the store side of EB.
I just know that they have moved the date 4 times since the 26th was announced as a ship date.
So I ask again... who has TOS in their hands?

Well, laugh at the stores then. The games are pressed, boxed, wrapped. If the stores delay their "release dates" then that is not our problem.

Isn't it? You are not receiving any revenues from your vaporware now are you?
It seems very much your problem; I can spend my hard earned dollars on a host of other products, or just play Star Wars Galaxies and not become a fan of TOS:WS, and not recommend to a host of friends that I game battletech with.
It seems yes… it is YOUR problem.
That type of aloof attitude doesn't win many customers.

Why don't you just order from Matrixgames directly ?
I guess Matrixgames has no influence on the resellers release schedule. All they can do is to deliver and rthats what they have done.
Regardless of that I ask you to calm down. I'm one of the coders/designers, sitting here in germany and twiddling thumbs as I have NO influence neither on Matrixgames nor in EBgames nor on Amazon nor on ......
I learned patience is a virtue hard to master.

Firstly, I am not un-calm…
However someone needs to speak with Marc Schwanebeck about what customer service is, and how it begets customer loyalty.
His comment does not breed an air of customer care.
Some people make better customer representatives then others as your words are more conducive to making a customer perceive that you are concerned about your products welfare.

It has to do with coordination between stores in different states making the game available at the same date regardless of shipping/delivery dates. That is what I was told by a store owner for EB. I have no reason to believe or disbelieve. In fact, I don't know anything about it. I'm just relaying what I was told.

Sorry if I sounded "snooty" or something. I care alot about our customers but point is that the release scedules of online or store retailers are not in our hands after we shipped to them. All I can say is that everything is done from our side.

FWIW I buy most Games from my local Mall EB, and the guy I know there says they have been having ongoing problems with their UPS deliveries getting to them in a timely manner.
If that`s nationwide, who knows... but he has no reason to BS me.
He gave me a Aug. 4 date as well.

Bah. You don't have any idea... Stars!: Supernova Genesis was supposed to be released... erm... 1996?

it kept getting moved (while the game got worked on and vastly improved) until now it sits in a legalistic morass and may never see the light of day... but if it does it'll rock.

If it helps any....
I talked to my friend at EB and he said they got them to the EB warehouses late last night and didnt get them sent out in time to be in stores today (im talking about Korsun Pocket...but im guessing this with be for WS too)
Ive heard reports of some sightings of the games in a few places
But all in all I was told the game should be avalible to purchase from EB monday
Worse case scenario is you will find a copy by late next week

Amen, Coyote.
My EB guys told me to check back on Monday too. If it's not there Monday, I'll call again Tuesday. If not Tuesday, Wednesday... and so on and so forth...

Hi
I can tell you that we have shipped all the games and any orders we had from our store are gone. I got my copy today and it was sent UPS ground.
The fact is it takes about a one to two weeks once we box up all the games and when they show up in the stores. Remember once the games boxed up we can start filling orders.
I will be surprise if the games are in on a Sunday but I am pretty sure they will be on Monday.
