Is Halder hardcoded?

Dear forum,

I have replaced him half a dozen times at high expenses against better ones.
After some time this stupid AI decided every time to bring him back. Sometimes after 2 or 3 turns, longest has been something like 3 months. Being a basic optimist, I decided every time to invest more points to get rid of him.
I even tried to put him in command of a corps in the middle of nowhere, just to get rid of him. In vain.

Last turn now, the AI even executed a flawless Guderian just to empty the office for him.

Is his position hardcoded or is the AI equipped with a sort of sadistic trait designed to drive innocent players into desparation?

I wouldn't replace Halder. At the OKH level the Admin rating is the most important. Halder has the best Admin rating. Probably why the AI is trying to put him back.

yes, he has a good admin score, but all the rest is horrible.
And if I understood the rules correctly, OKH is the last instance in all checks. So the influence on a single check may be not huge in %age, but the number of checks is huge.
My favorite is Kluge with 9-8-8 and a good inf score.

In my opinion leaders with better combat ratings are better at corps or army level.

I only ever consider the admin rating for army group or higher commands.

Personally I leave Kluge in charge of 4th Army. It's an important command and he works well there.
