Hi,

i want to do a finial count down type scenario but using the modern data base. For ship and submarine finding alternative unit and/or modify them is easy but for aircraft especially carrier capable one is had. Do you know any carrier base aircraft I could use for this.

Ideally prop aircraft no jet.
Unguided munition
Carrier capable (must)
For radar i can just set the side to never use them so i could by pass the problem that ways.

Probably not exactly what you're after, but the aircraft carriers in the DB can be modified in Scenario Editor, to the point where you can replace catapults with actual runways.
Of course, this could lead to its own set of realism issues if birds that are much too large for the CV also land on it.

I just try and it wont allow me to add aircraft that are not carrier capable. It say it ecced the maximum parking space. I try adding 60 very large parking space and it still wont let me. The carrier was empty with 60 parking space and i was trying to add only 1 aircraft.

If we can make it work, this would be a good alternative to allow me to not limit my self to carrier base aircraft.

Dose any one know hoe to make this work? I can add tonne of facility bu it never let me add non carrier aircraft even if a i have hundred of parking space and 5'000m runways.

I am pretty sure the lack of response is your answer. Might want to try posting in the lua subforum.

On a side note I notice I can put UAV on ship so this may be my solution. I'm also looking at helicopter. For the moment UAV with modify weapon mount seam to be the best solution.
