The great pathfinding ever

I think one of the worst things in DW2 is the automatic pathfinding. But now it seems that even by tracing a route manually most of the time it is not possible to obtain acceptable results: in the screenshot the third fleet must reach the region "west" of Titus and reach Almas: the automatic tracing creates an unacceptable route, but the tracing manual does worse, something really... nonsense. But a "trivial" waypoint system?

- Edit -
Not only the pathfinding manual or not is ... now
- beta 1.1.8.7 -, why when I set a refuel order to my 2nd fleet it take a long out of hyperange pleasure crusade to Lumabo, when there are many caslon mining station much closer and the home base is the near system of Vilosea???...

Hey thanks for the report. We know that 1187 has caused some 'interesting' effects on ship pathfinding for players. We are working to improve this in future updates. Do you have a save by any chance you could upload that shows the issue?

We will be working to improve pathfinding in the future, both in terms of its choices and performance. It is overly focused on pathing through systems right now.

Thanks, that sounds like good news.
Meanwhile, continuing the game (now mid-late game) I noticed that pathfinding goes crazy especially in certain areas, often in the presence of "strong" nebulae nearby, with at least two effects:
- tracking of absurd routes (both automatic and manual, even on short journeys)
- suboptimal order execution (euphemism)
The execution of orders can be particularly frustrating, for example in the case of automatic retrofit, it seems that the presence of a nebula performs a sort of "resetting": the unit, instead of taking advantage of the nearest construction site, persists in wanting to reach the spaceport of origin, crossing half the galaxy and without even considering the quantity of caslon available/necessary...

Today we released the Stellar update v1.2.0.5. Please give this version a try and let us know if it resolves your issue and improves your game.
