sometimes Ive seen explosions while planes are dropping torps(no bombs) they look like bomb hits but there is no sys or float damage from them. what are they?? dud torps? a torp hitting above the waterline?

Pilots tend to exagerate their claims :rolleyes:

they represent duds if you see no text following the mini "boom" that almost looks like a torp hit

If you see a full explosion and a text description of the hit location, but no following description of damage effects...then its an overclaim
