The base CMRT comes with two campaigns involving Bagration. One allows you to lead as the Soviets the other allows you to command a kampfguppe composed of elements from the 4th Panzer Division, XXXIX Corps, 4th Army against the Soviet 3rd Tank Corps, 2nd Tank Army, Belorussian Front.

There are 6 missions, with no replacement or repair of lost core units. It can be a tough campaign if you take too many unnecessary losses of your panzers. The finally scenario, will break you if you've lost too much of your core force.

BTW, there is a user on the BF forum who is developing his own Battle Pack for CMRT. The BP will put you as a commander in Army Group Center, from May-July 1944. He is titling it "Summer of Destruction", all indications are that this will be a must have, with 5 campaigns at last count. I've only seen screenshots of early (beta) versions.

Thx OlsSarge,
Iam looking for Intense defensives Campaigns on large maps as germany. Does Red Thunder or Fortress Italy offer the better ones?

The campaign, Night at the Opera Axis, in the CMRT DLC Fire & Rubble certainly qualifies as an intense defensive campaign as it is set in Berlin, near the Kroll Opera house, with the remnants of several units including FJ & SS - oh and you get the assistance of local police and the Volkssturm to top it all off. Facing off against elements of the 3rd Shock Army. The plan is simple: 'Survive!'.

You should try the Red Thunder Campaigns "The Last Panzer", "The Hill" and the finnish campaign "The battle for Tali-Ihantala".

Congratulations! RT has enough there to keep you busy for quite some time, between the stock scenarios and campaigns and all of the user added content.

BTW, if you don't already know, MHerm has a number of excellent videos on YT that are really nicely done!
For example, Combat Mission - RED THUNDER - Broken Shields - 4th Scenario - Storming The Castle - part 1
