Upgrade of lend lease equipment?

Playing the 43 scenario as PBEM, I would like to know if there is some way to upgrade the P-39 and P-40 production to P-47 (and the Grant to Sherman) without changing to computer controlled production. I do not want the computer to totally make a mess of my tank production.
We are in january 44 now, so it should be possible to build these types.
I would be thankful for any tip

I think the only thing you can do if you like to keep things under human control is to edit the save file with the Excell editor utility. As the cost of the items you cited is the same, you only have to edit the aircraft type made in the factory, without having to adjust to a new value.

Thank you for the tip alfonso, but I have never tried to edit a pbem save file and I will never try. I don't know if there is an edit protection and I don't want to destroy the file that way. And above all, I know me to well to trust myself if it would work. I would be tempted
Seems as I would have to use the good old P-39 to the end of war.

Your p-39 and p-40 squadrons seem to be the ones that cause me the highest losses.

Maybe there should be a fix in the next WIR version to always upgrade the Lend Lease production automatically without human interference
