Merge Scenarios

When I merge 2 different scenarios, units and events come in together, but not the missions, is it possible to include mission into the merge function? or is it even on the dev todo list?
Missions too are supposed to be merged.
Please provide a specific example (before- and after- saves) where this is not happening. Thanks!
