Game start: says there’s an independent colony, but there isn’t

Platform: Steam
Build version: started with v1.1.8.1
Severity: Low
Annoyance factor: Low
Confusion for new players: Through the roof!
Saved game:
Right at the start of a new game, as Ackdarians, I got a message saying that we encountered an independant colony of Quamenos at Pudires 1 in the Pudires system. The problem is that Pudires 1 is one of my 2 colonies (started at Young/Level 1), and its inhabitants are Ackdarians:
Here’s a screenshot of the Pudires system, and of the Pudires 1 selection panel:
Hopefully, it’s not a sign of things to come in the game (weird anomalies and/or bugs)...
By the way, I went back to the official release, because with the 1.1.8.7 beta, the game was crashing too often, just freezing (most of the time while saving, but not always). I wanted to check if it was the beta that caused the problem, so yesterday, I went back to 1.1.8.1 and started a new game. Using the “Run in absence” automation setting, I’ve let it run for a long time (hours), doing a few manual saves here and there. And it didn’t crash at all. So now I’m trying a “normal” game (we’ll see about its “normalcy”), to check if it will crash or not. I’ll let you know how it goes.
