Although it can be seen in the first image that the 5-4 fighter close to the HUN border can patrol to the attacked hex, and you can see that it is offered to CAP in the side menu, the game wont allow it to be moved to the hex, message alluding to no target (for a cap?) / no range (for a plane of range 4 that is at 4 hexes distant?).

Have no idea what the problem is, but my congratulations on J/A '45!

Yes, in spite of the countless problems we have faced, we have been able to crawl to J/A '45, maybe I unveiled the secret too soon, we wanted to surprise the forum, dont think many people ended so late. I made it only a couple of times even in my 20 or 30 board table games.

And we did it 100% netplay, with it's specific bugs all along. It only took about 3 years.

Can you check if the FTR is marked as "sentry"? I've made such a mistake in the past and wondered why a certain land unit couldn't be selected during movement...

Will check later today. However, I dont think that's the case because it let me include it in the defensive G Support, along with the bombers.

It looks to me like it is not on sentry. I kinda remember sentry was a blue or lavander dot, wasn't it? Besides, it is offered for the cap in the upper left drop down menu (and it wouldn't, I guess, if on sentry), but you cannot send it to the hex under attack (51.46).

However, it does let you move it for escort to the same hex, so not that it had any impact, but made us weary because we didnt think it would let it escort before it was allowed later.
