Is it worth it to install the latest Beta?

The latest beta is actually Hot Patch version 05.00.00.10.

This includes several bug fixes.

Your milage may vary, but I personally prefer 5.00.00.10 over 3.00.02.00.

IIRC there was a change in some of the game files after version 3 that would make the 5.0 hot patch inoperable. You likely would need to install the most recent release (v04.04.01.00) from the Members page first.

The members page shows and downloads:

But the 5.00.10 patch says I need:

Note that to use this Hot Patch you have to have installed the Public Beta 04.02.00.00.

Where might I find this 04.02.00.00?

And are these installers or just exe replacements?
