Mission Editor freezes with mission class -None-
Posted: Wed Jan 10, 2024 8:25 pm
When the Mission Editor is open and I create a new mission, if remove the tick by Open Mission Editor (Screenshot 1) and click on OK then a mission with a class of -None- shows up in the list (Screenshot 2). If I then select the mission, I get a long error (Screenshot 3) and the Mission Editor freezes. If I then click on the Mission Editor GUI button, the Mission Editor unfreezes and I can delete the -none- mission and start over.
The issue only occurs if the Mission Editor window is open and I create a new mission without the Open Mission editor box ticked. If I do not click on the mission as above, but close and reopen the Mission editor first, then the correct mission class is displayed. If the Mission Editor window is not open at all when I create the mission as above, the correct mission class is displayed when I open the Mission Editor window.
I have attached a save file from after these screen shots. This is the Strike Tutorial #2 - Driving in the Daisies scenario.
