Slower animation

I've often wondered if there is a way in the game to
slow down the speed with which battles and movement are animated on the map during the opposing side's turn? Thanks for any insight you can offer.

The only one I know is: In the Options screen, turn OFF Quick Animation (right-hand side).

Yeah, I do have that turned off already.
I think a lot of it has to do with my new PC. It seems to run the game's animations at a much faster clip than the old one.
