Cannot Install

I uninstalled at some point and am now trying to reinstall using my Matrix copy, but I get this "version already found" message. When I press Uninstall, nothing happens, leaving me with... no option. I don't want to use the Steam version either, mostly because I despise Steam. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Never mind, I searched the forum and found the same issue discussed, deleted registry files and problem solved.

Good to hear you have it working. I was just about to mention reg files. Which version did you uninstall previously? I will need to let folks know that the uninstall was incomplete. Thanks.

I actually don't recall which version! I just rage-deleted a while back as I was in utter frustration at my lack of strategic thinking. I've returned, having done more research.
