Access violation when game is running while computer screen times out

If the game is left running when the computer's screen times out (as set in Windows power settings) the game will crash with an access error upon returning to the game.

Has happened with every version, most recently 1.00.35

Understood. Do you have a save you could upload where you're able to reproduce this?
Also, the game's using an old engine that may cause unexpected errors on modern systems, such as the one you're seeing.
