the first game ever to reach summer 44 was thought to be interesting.
My planes had absolute air superiority but that changed without notice. Within a few turns the results of the same units on both sides flipped to the opposite without any apparent reason.
Stumbled me and also my -airwise- rather frustrated game partner.

But then came the swallow.
And I changed a whole group and let them loose in order to turn the tide.
What should I say?
84 sorties
4 aireal victories
12 aireal defeats
17 losses in total that round
And the next round was not much better.

Conclusion is:
Forget about the 262 and stay with tradition to keep your kill/loss rate at acceptable ratios ...

Can you provide information on the circumstances?
And provide some Evidence?

And what does that mean?

They were part in 3 or 4 ground attacks as escorts.
Air superiority in that area was contested, so there were air combats alternating with the bombing rounds.
I had first swapped 3 or 4 staffs. Results had been not good. At least no losses, but also almost no kills.
So I wanted to see what would happen with a whole "Gruppe" of around 40.
Sorties in total in these attacks were in the 4digit area, so the jets were in a normal escort situation.

I would like to add a big "?" behind my first findings.

The system changed one of my level bomber Geschwader and the results are very different from the first ones I saw.

Last round:23 air victories, 3 losses (none in a2a)
This round: 48 air victories, 3 A2A losses, 12 losses in total
9 fighters, 39 LBs
