Am I doing something wrong on carrier attacks? This keeps happening mostly in the East Indies. I have a carrier group close enough to launch a carrier attack. In this case, see the low supply 3-3-0 task force attacking the US TF down in the right-hand corner of screenshot. The hex is red (signally air attack can be done) and will stay red and I can attack multiple times, but nothing happens and no deductions of OP points for the attacking force either. I can attack all day and nothing. See the combat results.
Let me know. I may be missing something Great game!!!!

I believe the TF is in heavy rain (no air) if I recognize the symbols on map..

I thought that too, but as a test, I moved the other unit you see to the clear hex closer and it does the same thing. The combat results table show nothing. The results are blank. I am just confused.

The blank results are indeed very strange... There should either an action with a clear result or no result line at all. Seems like a bug (I think).

If you actually select one of those results, what does it display?

Totally blank. Very weird and usually just near East Indies so far. Happened a couple of times early game, but I went a different route but now I the allies are ramping up against me and I will need to be able to attack from any location barring weather, etc. Maing it a bit of a problem sometimes, lol.

If you can redo this post the error log plz.

Something isn't right with that screen. Never seen that kind of error. Is this a Matrix or Steam version?

Sorry for the delay. This is the Steam version. The mod I am using are the map modded images. I am trying to remember where I got them but here is a screen shot.

Here is the player.log. Just so you know I have continued playing the game past the error. Decided to make a different move to avoid the issue. I do appreciate the response. It is not a game killer for me. I am still playing and loving the game. I copied and renamed the file to player.txt. File is dated 2-17-2024. I also have a previous player log called player-preb.log, if you want it.

I figured it out. Using the Uxbridge map mods.

The modded images won't have an impact.

Nothing there. What you have to do is perform the action.... have it fail... then post the log.

Is the game PBEM or vs the computer?

I am playing as Japan versus Allied AI. I have moved on pass it for now. I will bring up a save game up and try to duplicate it if I can. Otherwise, if it happens again, I will stop and pull the error log and send it. Thank-you for looking into it.

Well, I started a new turn in my ongoing game and decided I needed to do a carrier attack on hex 101.33. Same thing in a different area of the map. See the screen shot. I will also attach the player log renamed to player.txt. The attack originated from the Japanese 2 carrier TF near Henderson Field.

Just fyi, another Allied fleet was in hex 54,32 again (like the first post) and I could not attack it. Blank results. No deduct on OP for attacker. Nothing.

I emailed you to send a copy of the save game to me.

UFO spotted at hex 54,32 too. A squadron of F6F is missing.

This was a good movie. Not one of those stupid films we see today.
