What are the Base Forces in game meant to represent? I can't find any historical equivalent on them.

Just assorted small units at a base, various security forces such as the MPs/Provost Marshals, quartermaster detachments, and so on.

They probably represent an aggregation of smaller service units devoted to logistics, construction, equipment maintenance, aviation, security, etc. Otherwise, if you broke them down into their separate components, you'd be responsible in the game for deploying many thousands of LCUs instead of many hundreds of LCUs.

Important additional service - medical support. Your troops will recover much faster with a BF present because they will have medical support.

I have a group picture of my dad with the HQ and HQ squadron 18th AF Base Group at Wheeler Field taken November 1941 by Schofield Studios. There were about 180 men in the photo for the HQ and supporting squadron. I assome that there were other components of the Base Group than just the HQ squadron.
It gives me the chills knowing that this picture was taken between 1 and 4 weeks before Pearl Harbor.

Base forces¡..well this is the key, for winning the air and the land too
players think that (playing japan eh¡) the naval part of the game is important but not for me
as japan send all to Pearl harbor ALL¡¡..all divisions (all ships...you will take the rest..once Pearl harbor falls)
i know is i try for the 6 months, until divisions USA gets on PH), but thats it. japan look for a decisive battle on CVs yamamoto was wrong, the decisive battle of course with CVs is taking PH on the first 6 months and USA will not be able to defend java, philippines,, etc etc even australia,
playing as japan you can make a bombardement of 80.000 soldiers dead at PH, make port attacks mainwhile you will loosee all the samurais pilots (390) (japan was not prepare for Cvs battles at 1941) his Cvs was just for fun the samurais,, they put there once summitted.

Google US Navy ACORNS and prepare for a deep dive.

Since I already open this and I don't want to make a new one for a simple question
How do you make AAR? It seen to be a way to copy the reports and post them on the forum, how can you do this?
(I'm asking this for WitP:AE and WPO)

I think most players just do a copy and paste to their AAR posts from their save game folder or archive folder. All the combat reports and op reports from every turn get saved there.

I just copy & paste from Combat Report that is saved every turn in SAVE-folder of game.
Though I leave parts that are irrelevant in my opinion out. Then I elaborate situation once a month with pictures etc. Sometimes also when something interesting happens.

I suggest that you read a few and pick a style that you like and modify it to your liking.
If you want to mess with your opponent, someone once posted a picture of a tree and the responses to that post filled 6 pages before his opponent returned his turn. His opponent thought that a major operation was planned and become slightly worried.

Here is a TOE of a World War II Lion Base Force. Note that US Navy CB battalions came in two types: Construction and "Special". Special Battalions were for stevedore and general labor duties.

Very cool to see the components broken down.
Bomb disposal. There's a career with a blindingly bright future.

I think I'll go into typewriter repair instead.

Speaking solely from the US Navy perspective, bases forces came in four basic types plus innumerable "subs". Lions and Oaks, Cubs and Acorns. Components could be tailored to a specific base but these pre-defined units were preferred.
Lions were major port base forces (see above). The first Lion was deployed to the New Hebrides.
Cubs were minor port base forces, each about one-fourth of a Lion
Oaks were major air base forces.
Acorns were minor air base forces, each about one-fourth of an Oak.
There were also some specialty units. CASU (Combat Aircraft Service Unit) each contained sufficient support for a Carrier Air Group, or equivalent. CASUs could provide the full range of aircraft repair along with routine service.
There was an equivalent unit for patrol aircraft, but I can't recall the name offhand. They say memory is the second thing to go.
All the World War II combatants had equivalent base force units in some form.

Did the "Bobcats" battalion which was sent to Bora Bora count as one of these basic types? Or was Bobcats just an assigned CB code name?
