G'day everyone. You may be aware of a thing called hex thingy that puts a hex grid on Google Earth toe assist with the creation of scenario maps. One of the limitations of Google Earth used to be there was only one layer. Google Earth have upgraded their act and there are now heaps of layers to suite your individual needs. The problem with hex thingy was that you had to manually enter your own hex coordinates. I mentioned it to a programming friend and he has created a new one that automatically displays the hex coordinates.
