[1.2.0.5] Bombers choose nonsense targets

In the attached screenshot, you can see my 1'st fleet which was ordered to destroy a spaceport. This fleet has a core of carrier Frigates.
Now, here is what i imagine the priority of the bombers would be, considering the mission of the Fleet.
1) Attack Fleet Target (Spaceport)
2) Attack ship (carrier) target (Spaceport, or in case of fleet battle, the local target)
3) Escort the carrier/fleet
Now, what does the bomber do instead?
1) Abandon the carrier and fleet to travel across the planetary system to attack a random mining station
To be frank, the above is almost the most comical thing it could do, with the only thing worse being flying around in circles firing randomly.
This drastically decreases the actual firepower of the ship and the fleet and is not the desired behavior.
Save game attached which show the issue, hit the #1 hotkey to get to the fleet and watch the nonsense occur when the fleet comes out of warp.
