Last turn, not being last turn in game

Hi ,
I find this very frustrating in that you have the countdown for the last ten turns to realize that one turn left at the start of your turn actually means one turn after this current turn. It is rare for games to go to the end and I feel this wording is very confusing. I based my play that turn on it being my last, as I feel Pete Dalby did too. I didnt use units I would of, or transorted units the turn before I would of, did suicide attacks etc. My units I didnt place for defending Petes next turn so left some things open as well .
Perhaps a more obvious wording is needed like : This turn is your 10th last turn so forth to This turn is your last turn, Saves confusion and putting a dampener on a great game we have played against each other.
