I saw the tournament and I'm intrigued. I'm a Steam user so can I have the beta and non-beta installed simultaneously?

The way Steam betas work is that you can opt-in to the beta at your discretion. The game will automatically update to the beta branch if you select it or update to the latest stable branch if you decide to deselect the beta. In essence, you can pretty seamlessly switch from one build to the other. Instructions on how to access the public beta you can find in this post:

Thanks. Flashpoint and Combat Mission are my wargaming go to series and I'm looking forward to participating.

Once it starts you should receive an email letting you know your matches have begun. Matches are mirrored, so you'll play each scenario from both sides against the same opponent. Make sure you're on 2.1.4 when you go to play your tournament matches. They'll automatically show up in your matches list, same as any other PBEM++ match.

Great seeing there are tournaments coming!
I just bought the game last week and I was afraid I wouldn't have a chance to play against other players (I just saw a single challenge in the MP server last week) . Too early for me to join this one since Im stull learning the game, but looking forward for future tournaments.

Hi, what difficulty and FOW settings will we be playing for the tournament? Or will that be by mutual agreement of players?

So I was wondering why I didn't get an email. Went to the tournament page, saw my opponent, and tried to look up this BYE guy....
In my defense I hadn't had any coffee yet....

I can't explain your delay but I just received my email about 25 minutes ago so maybe it was just unfortunately timing.

Is it possible to start a multiplayer turn, watch the turn, possibly give a few orders, save it, and then return to finish the turn later? I've never tried this out of concern for creating a problem in a multiplayer PBEM+++ game.

Grognard settings have been used for all the scenarios. (The difficulty settings in our game are just presets for the FoW settings)

Hey folks,
I'm loading up my own tournament match and seeing the wrong FoW settings (they should be Grognard as I mentioned in my last post). I will get this fixed ASAP to correct this problem. Thank you for your patience.

From what I heard, they try to match equally skilled opponents together for the first match.

Thinking about this, is there a possibility that no-shows could be barred from participating in future tournaments?

How does the puntuation work? I'm seeing that both my opponent and I have the same score, but this is not possible as I've lost the first game (thoroughly

) and we are in the middle of the second one.

I just submitted my first turns with Searry (I.e., within the last 30 minutes) and I was surprised to see that we already have scores. Are the score updated live? What do these numbers represent?

What "Expires" in round description means ? Time to start the round or the time when the whole round ends (i.e. all turns must be finished by then) ?
