We're invading Sakhalin, and we get a mission to go up to the target you can see at the top of the screen here and invade. But for some reason the transports are headed towards a point much farther south. Imagine my surprise when that place appears to have some field gun batteries. Was the Navy misinformed by the Army as to where they wanted to invade?

Postscript: I went up to the marked objective location and found there were coastal batteries there as well. I blew up the batteries at the location the merchies were trying to go to, but they began to sail around in circles and never got closer either to the place they had been headed or to the real objective farther north. I looked in the autosave.sac file, and the northern location was the objective location listed in the force's setting, but under objective for each of the divisions of the invasion force they had 00000E 000000N. I tried editing those entries to put the actual objective in but they did not change their behavior and continued steaming around in the straits. I had already sunk the Russian fleet, so I just let time run out and I got a "failed mission" to get the TRs into the objective and nevertheless my landing took place in the turn execution.

I really, really, really wish you guys would make it possible to command invasion fleets, at least in captain's mode. This is super-frustrating and has been an issue for several versions of this game; as long as I have been playing anyway. I lost a couple of DDs shooting up the shore batteries and the 12340982p7uup-0[98jhpoaweifn;vlacsojkl;nmdxcp;ofiuawhjerfnpo;ip;voweiuah merchies wouldn't even sail towards their supposed objectives after THE ENTIRE ENEMY FLEET AND ALL SHORE BATTERIES were destroyed.
