Tutorial 1: error "half-squad airborne and it's machinegun cannot fire together"

Hello!
I run Tutorial 1 for the US side, on the first turn, during "Defensive Fire Segment" I try to select HS Airborne and it's machinegun, but get error "half-squad airborne and it's machinegun cannot fire together".
After some clicking on leader/squads/machinegun I'm able to select all the personnel together with support weapon.
I would think this situation exposes two bugs:
First: error is invalid since selecting HS and it's machinegun is a valid situation. If I play German side - then US AI is able to fire at me using MG with ROF, this indicates that it's not the leader that is firing MG, but it's the HS is firing MG. So AI is able to fire the weapon using HS but the player gets error when player tries to select HS and MG together
Second: I'm still able to select all three items even despite the error. So this means that error messages are not correctly blocking the unit selection.
1. select HS: HS selected
2. add MG: error. MG selected
3. select leader: leader selected
4. add MG: leader and MG selected
5. add HS: error. leader and HS selected
6. add MG: UI blinks but there is no error, and selection stays "leader + HS"
7. one more time add MG: error is shown. But after dismissing the error MG gets selection, now selection is all three items "Leader + HS + MG"
so the error situation with selection is on the Step 6 and 7: on step 6 UI blinks and nothing happens, but then click results in the selection of invalid option even despite error was thrown
