5.0.0.1

I experienced the following bug

Axis had ships and subs in a sea area. Only ships took part to combat. After the first round of combat Axis aborted, but only ships aborted. There were new rolls and I assumed I misclicked, but that happened also when I did it again. If this has not been reported I will recreate it again.

Yes, it happens to me often. I thought that was rules as written (coded)?

It's only when the subs are committed and their side aborts that the subs abort too. Otherwise they stay and may continue to fight. Is that not correct?

11.5.11. MULTIPLE NAVAL COMBAT ROUNDS
After each round of naval combat, any unit at war with another unit in this sea area may abort (the active side deciding first). If any unit on a side chooses to abort, all units on that side committed to combat this round must also abort. Do this just like the units are returning to base (see 13.4).
(Underline added.)

Thus uncommitted SUBs should not abort when the surface units do. So MWiF is correct here.
