When reloading a savegame, enemy Coastal batteries are reloading at the location of the leading division of the fleet.

This is a bug that I first noticed in a much earlier build, so I presume that it is already a known bug. The main issue is that it persists in the current beta build.

I have attached a save file with this situation in case that helps.

I attach a jpeg screenshot of the game as opened zoomed in so you can see the detail of the forts overlaid over the carrier. The tab is opened to the OOB so you can see that GB Battery 4 is the first fort on the list.

I attach a second screenshot showing the game after moving ahead 1 minute from the save and zoomed a bit further in, as it is easier to see the detail. The tab is st to the log, so you can see that enemy forts are sighted.

Interestingly, the flag depicted is red and described as GB Battery 4 Course 330 Speed 0, and if I right mouse click on it, it says that it is under AI control (as you would expect from a triangular flag).

I could not capture that, for as soon as I use the shift key the focus over the flag is lost.

I have also attach another file zoomed out so you can see that the location is far from the coast - actually west of Iceland in this case.

Found and quashed the bug, thanks to your savegame. Thanks for the report!

That's excellent news.

I confirm that with v1.00.46 my saved game loads without the reported bug.
