Two bugs

Hi all,
I've been noticing the following two behaviors and wanted to report them here.
1. I will occasionally get an "application failed" message with a pop-up window after issuing orders to units. This does not occur consistently, but occurs repeatedly on each instance. I am still able to continue playing the scenario, so I am unsure if this behavior affects anything in terms of game mechanics.
2. In the Canadian campaign, I am able to reposition the improved positions (but not the minefields or obstacles) to new locations by clicking and dragging them. My understanding is that this should not be the case.
Thanks!

If the application failed messages offer an opportunity to save and submit a bug report, please do so. We get reports around things failing when issuing orders, but without that info they are difficult to fix. Fortunately when it comes to workaround, usually reissuing the order works just fine and you're able to continue play normally.
Improved Positions are supposed to be movable during setup, this is working as intended. Maybe someday we'll make it so they can be toggled by the scenario designer whether or not they are movable. (minefields and obstacles are not supposed to be movable, this is also working as intended)

Hi,
I managed to get a screenshot of one of the instances I was talking about. This occurred when applying a change from Move Deliberate to Assault for a US Mech Inf PLT (with M113s).

In the future we'll need the other tab of that report as well (I recommend just saving using the onscreen dialogue there and uploading the resulting .txt file here). That first page isn't very useful to us most of the time.

Hi,
Just had another occurrence of this message and captured both tabs (attached as screenshots). This occurred after changing a final Screen order to Hold for a PzGdr unit with M113s and Mech Inf/ATGM teams; the order sequence was Move Deliberate -> Screen before being changed to Move Deliberate -> Hold.

Thanks. I'm not sure we're going to be able to solve that very quickly, but I created it as ticket FPSS-5349. Let us know if the stack trace there is ever anything different, as that would indicate a different bug than this one.

Is this bug something new, or have you seen it for a while? Your uptime on the system is a lot of days, and I wonder if something in memory is getting corrupted and triggering this error. I tried to replicate this morning with many mech units with various waypoints and orders and changes in waypoint orders and could not generate this. If this keeps happening, maybe a reboot of the computer and see if it continues.
