"Stuck" replacements

I have noticed in many of my games that sometimes replacements seem to get stuck in the SHQ pool and are never distributed. For instance, I built 110 Mech Artillery for distribution to the front when I upgraded some formations to use them. 10 turns go by and none of the mech arty are moved out of the SHQ. In the meantime, the units at the front take losses in other equipment which ARE replaced. I even ran a battalion all the way back to the SHQ and let it sit there a couple of turns to see if it would "fill out" its OB with the mech arty. No, nothing. Curious, I further customized the formation by adding heavy tanks to the formation OB. I then upgraded the formation, built the hvy tanks and voila, a turn later all of the units in the formation had their loadout of hvy tanks in place at the front (happy battalion commanders)....all the while the mech arty is still sitting in the SHQ, looking at the Empty field next door where the heavy tanks had been the turn before. The only way I could get mech arty into the individual battalions was to manually add them via the replacement system, one battalion at a time. In the meantime I have this glut of mech arty at the SHQ that refuses to move out to the front no matter which unit may have taken losses and require them. The only way to fill mech arty losses anywhere in my army is to build additional mech arty over and above the 110 first built, because those 110 will NOT move out...cowards all. All this stuff is the same model, no changes. This is not the first game I have seen this phenomenon occur. Anyone else have this happen? My logistics are robust. And running that battalion back to the SHQ should have fixed the problem if it was logistics, not to mention that other replacement were going to the front just fine.

Have you checked that the mech artillery model is set to a quality level that's accepted in the unit's settings? If it's only tolerated, then replacements of the model won't be sent out. Though by default, all quality levels are accepted.

Thought of that. I went through and made sure that the replacement level requirements were set as low as possible.
I will go back and triple check.

Verified the stuckiness...again. I had several units in different formations that needed some mech arty. The 110 mech arty that i have had in my reserve pool refused to budge to go to the units for many turns. So I built 50 new mech arty bringing my mech arty pool to 160 and the next turn they were gone, replenishing the units at the front. And leaving my mech arty replacement pool at 110, the same number that I built the turn i customised the armored formation to use then so long ago.

Could you post your save? I never experienced something like that myself.

Hmmm, cannot post save games here. And the current save file size is just under 11mb.

Oh yeah, this forum does not take save files for whatever reason, you always gotta package them in a .zip. Rather annoying everytime when bug reporting.

so every mech arty over that stuck 110 are send to front every single time ?
what will happen if you fill these 110 manualy to unit and then you build more mech arty units ? will they again be stuck at 110?

if yes, then somewhere you must set that number for something. my idea is about set shq defence of something like that.

User error, as usual. Figured it out. That model got set to "Obsolete", which kept the obsolete equipment in the replacement pool, but would not allow it to be deployed, manually or automatically. Compounding the problem was a long equipment model name, which was truncated on the screen I was using, making it appear identical to the newest and upgraded model.
Blech.
