Been a long time since my last TOAW game.............anyway, jumped into Directive 21, played it a while back.
I have forgotten some of the nuances.

Is it better or does it matter if I execute planned battles all together, creating 4-5 a dozen, or do them one at a time, meaning; I plan one battle, execute, instead of planning them all at once, then executing? Its the turn time expended issue that has me curious...thx in advance.....

Very interesting Steve, I did watch a tutorial on this, well, it was a lot more complex, you broke it down and made it easier for tired old mind to grasp, many thx.

I am reading the link you sent, well, the link at the link posted by tamas, the Timestamp explanation was very valuable for this new version of TOAW...thank you posting answering and this.

Greetings,
I play to squeeze out as many tactical rounds out of a game turn as possible. But if the tactical situation warrants a 2-3 or more tactical rounds expenditure for a good field position, tactical/stragetic, or envelopment maneuver, then go for it. If it's an attritional stragedy or positional front, you are pursuing, then go for as many rounds as you can.
