Feelin' burned out

At first, I played this game for days straight, but now I boot up a game for 10 minutes, get annoyed, and exit.
I'm just wondering why I feel this way. Maybe it's the amount of stuff you need to fix: your cabinet, metal, IP, income and all the leader RNG rolls until you get a good one. Even with corporations/religion turned off for some reason it gets to me. Then there's unit models that you need to re-RNG half the time and grind their field testing all of the time. The governance rolls are almost always set to give you a bad event unless you have someone CAP 3 and up to sort it out, so you go back to grinding RNG leaders, again.
Maybe the games needs more fun early game? Honestly, after a month of not playing, it still feels like coming home to a job rather than a game. I have a really cool planet generated too. It has reached the point where I just think that generating a planet is more fun than actually playing on it.
