In real life the British INVADED Lebanon-Syria in June 141 (same time as Op Battleaxe). In Strategic Command: War in Europe, the declaration of Vichy France upon its fall for Lebanon-Syria is loyalty to Vichy BUT the border disappears which essentially means that UK relieved of a secondary front in early-mid 1941.

Is it so unfavorable to the Allies to 'require' the UK to fight on two fronts. In my single player games the British can concentrate on the Italians without having any concern that they may take any kind of offensive on the Lebanon front.

Hi

Which campaign are you playing?

I only ask as in the official campaigns, Syria should be formed as a separate entity if Germany agrees to an armistice with France that forms Vichy France.

I have checked the 1939 Storm over Europe campaign and Syria is definitely being formed in that if Germany creates Vichy France.

Are you playing a different campaign?
