As the title above, how do you think the best or suitable tactics for only IFV and infantry in combat?
Especially, if a company of BMP assaut in well defended town, and there is some cover terrain for attack, at which point to dissembark the infantry is the best choice?

The answer is it depends. Depending on what IFV/APC the troops are in and depending on the enemy, enemy units and firepower, enemy cover and concealment, and enemy supporting forces, you may want to unload 1500m to 0 meters on the target location. The more exposed the approach or more dangerous the enemy, the further away you want to dismount troops. The less capable the troop carriers, the further away you will want to dismount. Covered approaches are still a good move. Using smoke and prep fires on objectives to help mask approach.

It depends on the troops composition.

If it is a BMP IFV Co. attack , I would prefer to set the dismount distance at 1. Sometime I might even change it to 0 if I don't want the Co. bogged down into a prolong firefight with the depleted enemy units

But for Marder Plt. They have additional 3 milan section in the game. So I would change the dismount distance to 4, in this case the Milan ATGM can be deployed and fire the ATGM on enemy units
