Thanks for the birthday wishes. No party, (it was a Monday), but I did go to my regular historical fencing night, where I took on all comers with my trusty rapier, and was reasonably victorious.
Naturally, in order to maintain an authentic period approach, we repaired to the pub afterwards, so it was a good night.
