I know McAfee can be quite picky at times but this is the first time I have had a warning from the Matrix site.
Can anyone confirm or deny?
thanks

I am not aware of any issues from Matix or players. I would say it is a false positive. Did it state which file was the issue?

Just says the zip file. I find McAfee gets super conscientious the closer I get to renewal time...it claimed the Matrix ftp url was a suspicious site so likely a false positive as you say if I am the only one getting this

The ftp site being flagged as suspicious is likely due to a certificate mismatch. They often get certificates for only one of their domains and use them for both. So the certificate might be for matrixgames.com while the ftp site might be at slitherine.com (or vice versa). This will raise a flag for most applications as this is suspicious. In this case though since they are the same entity and you're going to the same source you've always used, it's a warning you can ignore.

Thanks you guys for watching our backs on these issues.
AVAST can sometimes drive me absolutely crazy, but truth is the app has probably saved by 10-year-old dinosaur from an early extinction. God bless you all!
