In the editor there is a main unit named "Escort" that is not available for any nation. Can it be used for a new unit, such as an escort aircraft carrier, or is this unit the same as the auxiliary Escort unit that protects convoys, so modifying its characteristics would directly influence attacks on convoys?

And if not, can the characteristics of the escorts be changed with the editor?

It is an extra unit that I originally was going to use and didn't. If I remember it is a CVL type.
