Having this thread stuck in the mods thread is a disservice to the people doing the work. Just creating this thread to expose more casual players to the work behind Quick Battles.

I'd be interested in a small surface group of various configurations being attacked by AShM-bearing aircraft with the aircraft and loadouts being varied.

Hey, I have a bunch of ideas for scenarios, however I don't have the knowledge to make them nor the time. Is there any thread on the forum where users can share scenario ideas/description and then if they are interesting to be made by those who know?

I'd like to see quick battles that focus on using some of the new features like the Flight/Mission Planner and Cargo Ops. Not tutorials. Small set pieces that use those features.
For example; use the Cargo Delivery type to airdrop units into hostile territory and take an enemy base. Or an amphibious operation to do something similar.
The mixing and matching of units and Opfor would be interesting.

Played from which perspective?
Problem is, that would require not just AI strike missions, but Lua-generated AI strike missions where the aircraft can be trusted to carry out the mission without getting hung up somewhere...which is a bit of an issue right now. If nobody else takes it on, I'll think about it for a future project. I know nothing about surface ships, though.
The actual new QBGs that I have on the back burner right now are SEAD vs SAMs, where the player has to put together different "Wild Weasel" or "Iron Hand" type packages to perform the SEAD/DEAD mission in different eras- I'm thinking it will be 1960-1980, 1980-2000, 2000-2020. Logically, this makes sense for me as a next step because the Lua code is a cross between the A2A BVR duels and the Rolling Thunder stuff. However, I've been on a bit of a CMO break since the DCS F-4E came out.
