Sorry I know this is possible but I can't remember how to set it. I'd like the game to
pause after each combat action so I can read the damage reports that go way too fast
on the default setting. Does anybody know where this is set?

Options-damage result-persistent
Answered my own question.

You can also change the speed besides just stopping them!
