Is there a way to turn off evasions?

You can turn off retreats and edit retreat percentages but I see no way to turn off or edit evasion percentages? Where can I find this?
What's your Strategy?

Thank you yes the editor! But I would not say this is simple if you have to edit it for every country and unit. Wish there was just a simple on off option for all units...Elessar2 wrote: Fri Jul 19, 2024 8:55 pm In the game engine I don't think you can, but since you alluded to editor functions in both of your examples, I assume you mean the editor.
Very simple: Country tab, Edit Combat Data for the units in question, Loss Evasion-Naval Combat over at the lower right. Set to zero for all desired units (make sure you copy them over to the other countries with the Apply Data function), and you're off. You will have to save it under a new name tho.
You can use the Apply Data function to copy the change for one unit type/country to all others.Tanaka wrote: Fri Jul 19, 2024 8:56 pmThank you yes the editor! Just a personal game choice really as I tend to like to turn off retreats and evasions in general...BillRunacre wrote: Fri Jul 19, 2024 9:02 pm What unit type in particular are you looking at, as maybe this is an area for discussion?
And of course, what campaign?

Actually what made me look to change it was when I attacked with a Japanese battleship and sunk the Prince of Wales. I sunk it and my battleship then had evasion and avoided any damage. Which is strange as the editor says Japanese BB's have no evasion? I am guessing this happens when you sink a ship and there is no return fire?BillRunacre wrote: Fri Jul 19, 2024 9:02 pm What unit type in particular are you looking at, as maybe this is an area for discussion?

Aha thanks!BillRunacre wrote: Sat Jul 20, 2024 8:12 am Naval Warfare research provides a 5% chance per level of evading losses when attacking.
